How to become eligible for more shifts

When new shifts become available with our clients, we first contact compliant candidates, with updated Availability on Staffshift, with the required skills and qualifications. This means that most of our nursing jobs are filled fast.

Only when we cannot fill these shifts from our top staff pool, will we display the job adverts on the Staffshift job board.

Therefore, you must keep your profile up to date to ensure you are fully compliant to work for our clients:

  • Training:  You need to keep your training up to date, namely: Basic/Advanced Life Support and Moving & Handling as these need to be practical courses.  

  • DBS checks: Your DBS should be registered with the Update service

  • References: Forward your responsible Compliance consultant your updated references 

  • Update skills: Always update your skills on Staffshift - the more skills you have, the more work opportunities.

  • Contact details: Update your contact details on Staffshift when you have changed your cell phone number or email address.

Update your Availability on Staffshift

You can update your Staffshift Availability Calendar for the next 90 days on your Staffshift Mobile App or desktop version. We have a step-by-step guide on how to update your availability on Staffshift.
